Meet The Team
Jeffrey L. Gary
Director

Jeffery L. Gary is an award-winning director and cinematographer, primarily focused on documentary films. Mr. Gary is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema and Television. His love of film and all things visual was developed at an early age while growing up as the 8th of 13 kids in Birmingham, Alabama.

He was Director of Photography on the award-winning documentary short Drawn Together and Director/DP/Editor on the award-winning documentary short Creating Beauty.

In addition to Letters From Brno, now airing nationally on PBS, and the recently completed Holocaust documentary, An Auschwitz Album Story, he's currently in post-production on a new documentary, Breakfast For Claire. He has also served as Executive Producer on several films, including the feature film Seven Lost and the animated short film Fast Forward To Forever.

Past films as Director of Photography include: The Odd Couple and Drawn Together. And as Executive Producer: Speak Ya Peace, directed by Clarence Williams IV, Mr. Gary has also directed a number of music videos, commercials, and corporate video projects.

Mitchell Kreitenberg
Producer

Mitchell Kreitenberg is the son of Mike Kreitenberg, a Holocaust survivor and a docent at Holocaust Museum Los Angeles, where he speaks to students, donors, and a wide range of professional groups. He has presented around the world about his family's discovery in the Auschwitz Album, including across the United States, England, South Africa, Canada, and even aboard a Danube River Cruise. This film marks Mitchell's debut in the world of film production.

Ernie Kreitenberg
Executive Producer

Ernie Kreitenberg, younger brother of Mitchell, shares the same family history. He is a Los Angeles based attorney.

Steve Kreitenberg
Executive Producer

Steve Kreitenberg, Steve Kreitenberg is the son of Josef Kreitenberg, an Auschwitz survivor and the youngest brother depicted in the film. He has spent his entire career in real estate, following in his father’s footsteps, who worked in the field for over 50 years.

This film fulfills a lifelong dream of his father's: to ensure the story of his childhood would be preserved and shared for future generations.

This project marks Steve’s debut as a film producer.

Dari Kreitenberg
Associate Producer

Dari Kreitenberg is a Los Angeles-based producer and also the granddaughter of Holocaust survivor Joe Kreitenberg. She graduated from USC with an MFA in Film and TV Production and currently works at Project X Entertainment as Creative Executive.
